This week Europe’s leading media and content owners meet in London to discuss the one question on everyone’s mind: how can you generate revenue from digital content?
The Digital Content Monetization European Conference 2011 is designed to bring you closer to the projects that are challenging the way we think about monetising digital content. The conference agenda compiled with the assistance of over 150 heads of digital media from content owners across Europe. Key speakers from over 100 content owners and media services including Yamgo, Endemol, Vivendi, Disney, BSkyB and Spotify will present case studies and early success stories, presentations detailing the technical aspects of product deployment and chair panel discussions on the toughest aspects of the industry.
DCM Europe is structured to allow all attendees to dig deep into how competitors and peers are tackling their toughest problems. The Pan-European panel format will cover music, film, TV, sports, games, publishing or other rich media sectors and will introduce all visitors to a variety of tried and tested strategies.
DCM Europe 2011 addresses challenges and opportunities right across the value chain, from workflow to customer analysis, and the hundred plus senior media & content owner speakers will uncover the technologies and strategies which will have a bottom-line impact.
One of the most heavily subscribed areas of DCM will undoubtedly be the Mobile Summit with many interested in discovering exactly how to successfully exploit the opportunities uncovered by mobile content.
Mobile is one of the fastest growing platforms in the consumer space, yet is proving to be one of the most difficult to monetise. CEO and Founder Ian Mullins will discuss how his mobile TV company, Yamgo, are generating revenue through this channel, and will discuss how others in the industry can apply the lessons he’s learnt to their own strategy.
The CEO is likely to find himself in demand as he joins the Ad Funded Panel, alongside Gareth Reakes, CTO, We7, Tom Laidlaw, CEO, Videojug, and Simon Kilby, Head of Trading, Guardian News & Media. The Yamgo Founder and fellow panel members will discuss the task of Marrying costs, user experience, advertiser expectations and revenue targets to ensure a successful ad funded strategy. The eagerly anticipated session will seek to learn from the strategies and experiences that have driven Yamgo and Ian Mullins to the forefront of the mobile TV market.
